Fashion Design & Sewing Internship

Bremelia Bridal is seeking a Sewing & Garment Construction Intern to join our creative team! This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in bridal fashion, working behind the scenes on stunning gowns and custom creations.

Internship Details:

Location: 1400 Hancock street 8th floor, Quincy MA 02169
Duration:  3–6 months | Part-time 
Start Date: SUMMER 2025
Compensation: Paid/Unpaid for credit

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist with hand-sewing, alterations, and garment fittings

• Support our team with gown customization and detail work (lace appliqués, beading, fabric manipulation)

• Help manage the workroom and materials inventory

• Shadow fittings and learn about bridal gown structure and tailoring

• Assist in the design and prototyping of custom or in-house gown styles

• Collaborate on design boards, fabric sourcing, and client sketches (for design-focused interns)

Ideal Candidate:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Fashion Design program

• Skilled in hand and machine sewing; experience with delicate fabrics is a plus

• Passionate about bridalwear, luxury fashion, and couture-level detail

• Strong attention to detail, with patience and precision

• Comfortable in a creative, fast-paced, and client-focused environment
